Call for Awards and Grants to attend the conference

BISITE Research Group (bisite.usal.es) offers 20 grants/awards to doctoral and young doctors.

Call Rules

  • Number: 20 grants/awards are offered.
  • Amount: the funds will cover accommodation from 26th-28th June, 2024 (check-in 25th June and check-out 28th June). The accommodation will be in a residence or hotel.
  • Accommodation address: Residencia Universitaria Colegio de Cuenca, P.º Francisco Tomás y Valiente, s/n, 37007 Salamanca.
  • Making the grant/award request: Send an e-mail to info@dcai-conference.net with the following information:
    • Subject: GRANT PAAMS & Co-located events 2024
    • Text Body: First name, Last name, Affiliation, indicate whether you are a doctor or doctoral student.
    • Attach a PDF file with the following information:
      • Last name
      • First Name
      • National Identity Number (or passport)
      • Postal address, including Post Code, Telephone (mobile if possible), email and URL.
      • University / Centre
      • Research group
      • Titles and authors of articles sent to PAAMS 2024 or co-located events
      • Titles of articles accepted by PAAMS 2024 or co-located events
  • Dates: The requests must be submitted from 29th April to 10th May, 2024. Applicants will receive an email confirming receipt of the request.

Evaluation

  • Evaluation Panel: The evaluation will be carried out by a committee.
  • Requirements: Applicants should be registered for the PAAMS 2024 or collocated events event in which they have publications accepted.
  • Evaluation Criteria:
    • The quality of the contribution/s shall be taken into account and, as such, the evaluation of the article reviewers shall be used for assessment purposes.
    • Every attempt shall be made to distribute the grants/awards evenly among institutions.
    • 25% of the grants/awards shall be reserved for those research groups with a high number of presentations both in PAAMS 2024 and the co-located events.
    • 25% of the grants will be reserved for doctoral students with works of high quality and who belong to research groups with limited funding.
